The Probe

The Probe is an investigation into the politics of contemporary art spaces. A traditional painting easel forms a plinth out which grows a model of the Glucksman Gallery (one of Ireland's newest contemporary art spaces situated at the University College in Cork). Four security cameras record the space around the work and transmit the images to the monitor placed where the painting normally would be
